WelcomeAnnette Gaul is an attorney dedicated to helping people through the difficult process of separation or divorce without going to court. Through the collaborative process or mediation, she assists men and women to preserve their privacy, dignity, and financial resources with an overriding goal toward maintaining the best interests of their children. She is committed to helping families reorganize with minimum stress and expense. A former Assistant District Attorney and litigator in the criminal, human rights and family law areas, Annette's practice the last several years shifted to help families avoid the pain and destruction of adversarial litigation through negotiation. She is devoted to processes that allow her clients to maintain dignity while fostering respect and decency. Annette earned her J.D. at the George Mason University School of Law. She also holds a Master's Degree in International Studies from The American University in Washington, D.C. and is a graduate of St. John Fisher College, Rochester, New York. She is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Monroe County Bar Association and the Association of Collaborative Law Attorneys. Prior to her legal career, she was a senior manager for the United States Department of the Treasury in Washington, D.C. and overseas. Annette has published numerous articles in the management field. |
